extMacAddress External

The MAC address external retrieves a list of MAC address on your PC. This external works with Windows XP and later. One of the things you can do is to retrieve a list of all network devices with their network type and MAC address. Just put the value returned by the external into a tab-delimited list to get a result similar to the picture below. This is much easier than parsing the information from a command line utility, such as ifconfig.This external works on PC only (it is relatively easy to do a similar task with the shell function on Mac OS X).

Using this external is very simple:

put extMacAddress() into fld x
